Rapid Improvement Strategy

The Reality of Change

Most organisations fail to manage change effectively. Too few understand the process of change and how it can be applied to deliver business results. Only by differentiating 'what works' from 'what does not,' can the average organisation actually improve performance.

As the pace of change increases, the average business fails to adapt fast enough to what is going on around them. In many organisations, as the need to change increases exponentially their ability to do so actually slows right down. Because of incessant demands to change, the build up of pressure results in decision making in the organisation grinding to a halt. Consequently, the organisation fails to adapt to and control the environment in which it works. This is the first sign of decline in the organisation's functioning. Without resolution this problem will significantly impact on the ability of the organisation to perform in a competitive and demanding market.

Control can be regained!

Developing a commitment to understanding the core elements of change management enables organisations to take charge and drive change effectively. Once change is welcomed as a process that leads to improvement, the business then can become adept at implementing Rapid Improvement technologies.

Much of Rapid Improvement is based upon the groundbreaking work of General Electric in the USA who designed a set of processes to deliver improvement at the speed of light. To find out more about these technologies contact Philip Atkinson on 0131-346-1276.
